Why I Started This
I sometimes think about how strange it is that we are here at all.
We get one life, yet we know so little about what it means to be human.
We learn from the people before us. We inherit ideas about what a life should look like, what we can do, what we cannot do, what is realistic and what is not. Then we begin living inside those ideas.
But how much of what we believe is actually true?
I think there is something beautiful about not knowing.
To me, that is part of our innocence. We are all trying to make our way through something we have never done before. None of us has been given the complete answer.
Yet I can’t shake the feeling that there is so much more available to a human being than what most of us ever discover.
There is potential sitting there, unclaimed.
Like having food in front of you and never eating it. It exists, but it never becomes part of your life.
I want to find out what happens when we begin to claim some of what is possible.
Not by believing someone who tells us that we can.
By trying.
That is what The Human Possibility Project is for.
It is an offering for the greater good. Whatever I discover through this work, I hope it can become useful to someone else and perhaps, in some small way, to humans who haven’t even arrived yet.
Because I have been given this life, I want to give something back through it.

To be honest, telling you about myself right now feels premature.
Or maybe the real question is, why do you want to know about me anyway?
You’re probably much more interested in the work itself, the questions being explored, and the reason I created this space in the first place.
I don’t have a finished philosophy about what it means to be human. I’m still discovering it.
I think of myself as a philosopher in the simplest sense of the word: someone who is deeply curious about life and unwilling to stop at the answers already given.
Try it.
I want to test ideas against real life, remain open to being wrong, and follow what we discover rather than what I wish were true.
So if you want to understand who I am, I don’t think a biography will tell you very much.

What I Hope This Becomes
I don’t know exactly what The Human Possibility Project will become.
And I don’t want to decide that too early.
For now, I want to keep following the question.
Perhaps, over time, something larger will emerge from that.
